In 1994, Dr. Ir. Eddy Suryanto Soegoto founded the German Indonesian Computer Education Institute (LPKIG) for a 1-year education program, occupying the campus on Jl. Dipatiukur No. 102. In the third year, the name of the Indonesian German Computer Education Institute (LPKIG) was changed to Indonesian Germany Institute (IGI).

On December 24, 1998, the Science and Technology Foundation was formed which was followed by a submission to the West Java Kopertis IV for the establishment of STIE IGI and STMIK IGI.

VISION

Become a competent study program in the field of Electrical Engineering, become a center for the dissemination and development of knowledge in the field of control systems and telecommunications systems that are superior, reliable and dignified, have global achievements and reputation, and have entrepreneurial insight.

MISION

  1. Organizing educational programs at the undergraduate level by providing effective and efficient theoretical and practical knowledge in order to produce competent graduates in the field of Electrical Engineering, able to apply them according to user needs, entrepreneurial insight and ready to compete globally.
  2. Develop research in the fields of control, telecommunications and applied electronics based on a clear roadmap and lead to scientific publications and/or real products.
  3. Carry out various community/industry service activities as an effort to contribute to solving real problems in the community/industry.
  4. Implement collaboration with industry, government, community institutions and related institutions both nationally and internationally in order to improve the quality of relevance in teaching, research and graduate competencies.
  5. Organizing effective and efficient study program management to facilitate the development of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

  5. Organization and management sector: Organizing effective and efficient study program management to facilitate the development of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
  6. Field of human resource development: Increasing the quality of lecturers and administrative staff.
  7. Field of development of facilities and infrastructure: Availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure for the creation of good learning process conditions.
