Human resource management, namely lecturers and education staff, follows the staffing regulations made by the General Administration Bureau (BAU) – UNIKOM. Within the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science (FTIK) scope, career development and coordination of the implementation of lecturer duties for the Electrical Engineering Study Program, and other study programs within the FTIK environment are the responsibility of FTIK UNIKOM.
The Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program has several main tasks, namely:
- Implement UNIKOM’s organizational culture, namely Professionalism, Integrity, Quality, Information Technology and Excellent (PIQIE) as a working foundation in the study program
- Advancing study program
- increase the value of study program accreditation
- Distribute teaching assignments and other tasks in the study program to lecturers fairly and equitably
- Supervise the presence of lecturers during office hours and lectures according to BAP
- Implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by UNIKOM’s vision, mission, and goals
Structurally, the head of the study program is assisted by several activity coordinators. The coordinators of these activities are:
- The Research and Final Project Coordinator, has the duty and authority to arrange the scheduling of the Final Project proposal seminar, to arrange the division of tasks as a final project supervisor, to the Final Project seminar and to the Final Assignment session, as well as to coordinate student and lecturer research according to their fields of interest.
- The Curriculum Coordinator, has the task and authority to carry out a curriculum review that will be applied every semester based on the lesson plan made by the lecturer so that he can always keep abreast of developments in the field of Electrical Engineering. This review must also be discussed with other Electrical Engineering lecturers
- Quality Assurance Coordinator, has the duty and authority to perform quality assurance so that the quality of the teaching and learning process in each semester takes place well. This quality control is done using several quality assurance documents that must be filled/made by each lecturer who takes the course in the semester.
- The Job Training Coordinator, has the duty and authority to regulate student practical work as well as establish cooperation with government and private agencies on the placement of students in carrying out practical work.
- Alumni Coordinator, has the duty and authority to coordinate with alumni associations and track alumni performance.
- The Student Coordinator has the duty and authority to provide direction and guidance for student activities in the study program environment so that their development can be regulated and controlled properly.
- Community Service Coordinator, has the duty and authority to plan community service activities and cooperate with other parties in community service activities.
- Coordinator of Guidance and Counseling, has the duty and authority to develop soft skills which include: character building and orientation for students.
- Site and Computer Network Coordinator, has the duty and authority to manage computer network systems in study programs, as well as upload information about study programs
The Study Program appoints several laboratory coordinators who have the following duties:
- responsible for the readiness and development of supporting facilities to carry out education
- responsible for the readiness and development of supporting facilities to carry out research and community service
